Dining assignment with gtee cabin

I’ve just booked two guaranteed inside cabins. After I pressed pay, I realised that I hadn’t been asked about dining preferences . Also each cabin has a separate booking number. Is this because guarantee bookings only get dining assignments after everyone who paid full price is happy? 

 

We we are quite happy to have cabins in different bits of the ship but we do want to eat together and avoid the late sitting.

We usually book gty cabins, and have always gotten our requested dining time.  Call HAL tomorrow and most likely will be able to arrange the dinner seating you prefer.  Have them "link" your booking #s so you will be seated together.
