Casino Getaway Cruise

Just off a Getaway cruise, Imagination four day trip to Ensenada. A very nice cruise, got priority boarding, a free room, $200 obc, and $200 cash from casino cashier. Drinks on Us card in the room and gifts daily. Bottle of wine, free steakhouse selections, cookies, strawberries, chocolate treats, and two very nice beach towels. A number of drawings and games for prizes ranging from $50 to $350 cash, chef's table for two, massage from the spa, and hot seat giveaways. I won nothing, but the number of players was smaller than the typical crowd on a week long premier branded cruise.

This cruise had every smallest detail go perfectly from the parking garage to luggage handling, to the room being ready and spotless (thanks Benny.) The waiters in the dining room were attentive and reactive. Bar servers in the casino were quick, extra friendly, and were willing to take special requests. The musical groups and shows were entertaining, and the comedy of BT was funny in both kids and adult shows. Even Kone had at least one of the glass elevators working. A lot of folks had costumes on and a staple of Carnival cruises was renamed "Scariest Chest Contest" in honor of Halloween.
