Hotel near Honolulu airport?

I have asked on the Hawaii thread.  Sometimes, others on a different threads can help with suggestions.

 

Our flight arrives after 9am and by the time we get our luggage it will be after 10pm..  

 

We are two 70 year old ladies who will be tired after a 10 hour.

 

We would like a hotel near the Honolulu airport with a shuttle.

Look at the reviews for the Airport Honolulu Hotel by Outrigger.  If you like this one, book direct with the hotel.  I looked into this property 2 years ago for myself, but booked the Ala Moana Hotel next to the mall.  I took super shuttle.  Go over to Trip Advisor under Oahu.

We stayed at the Best Western The Plaza Hotel close to Honolulu airport the night before an early flight out. Nothing fancy, but the rooms were fine, quiet, and relatively inexpensive. We took the shuttle to the airport, and it ran on time.

Usually, on HNL airport, the waiting time for your luggage is counted in minutes, so you should make it comfortably out of the airport before 10:00.

Anybody know what the cost of a taxi to the Celebrity dock from the airport?

Taxies are expensive in HI.  Airport to dock probably about $50-75.  I would try Uber or Lift.

For your transport to the port from your hotel look into Johnny cab, Charley's taxi or Hawaii 23.  They all have prebook and set price options which are much cheaper than just hopping in a taxi.  We have used Johnny cab before.  They were on time for pick up and we paid the set amount in cash on drop off. It was easy to arrange and we will be using them again next year.
