Question about Rumbaba Sail

I have sent to requests via their website trying to see if we could book them the 23rd of Feb when we are there on the Sun and have not heard back. Are they still doing tours? We have a booking with Princess for the half day Champagn Sail that we will cancel if we can book them. Does anyone know, does it take time for then to reply?

I just got my confirmation for Rumbaba on 2/22. We are on the Sun also but the ship is not in St. Thomas on the 23rd. It is the 22nd.

I have the itinerary right in front of me and it says we sail on the 16, 17-18 at sea, 19th Curacao, 20th Isla Margarita, 21st, Barbados, 22nd Dominica, and 23rd St. Thomas.

My bad!!! I am on the NCL Sun you are on the Princess Sun. You would think with all the names out there they could change that!! I'm so sorry! Anyway keep trying for Bobby - he's been good about e-mails and the trip sounds great.:o

That is what I thought but I wanted to make sure...It would be really bad to have a tour scheduled the day before you arrive. I am still waiting to hear from Bobby. If I don't we will surely find another but I have heard so much about his boat that I really want to try it.

Try emailing Capt. Bobby at rumbabac@rumbabacharters.com. He has responded to me fairly quickly and I have also spoken with him on the phone. If for some reason he doesn't respond, call him as it is because the email is going through for some reason.

It must be an issue with you junk mail filter, he replied to all of my emails recently very fast.

Are you guys both booked on the rumbaba on the 23rd of February? If so then I will more than likely be joining you with my 62 year old mother. I just got an email back for Capt Bobby saying that he is available that day. The only thing I'm waiting to hear back from him on is if my mom will have some comfortable place to sit while on board. I've seen lots of pics on these daysailing websites where the young people are lounging around in various places. Her joints just can't handle that.

HaydensGirl- I am on Rumbaba 2/22 off the NCL Sun. Chapdaddy is in St. Thomas 2/23 from the Sun Princess. If you check the web site you will see seating area at the stern by the wheel. It is usually a padded bench area which should be fine for the trip. http://www.rumbabacharters.com/
