Boy, there have been some good choices for table mates! If I could have a table for six, it would include:

Benjamin Franklin

Jesus

Ghandi

Abraham Lincoln

My DH - he's a great conversationalist and critical thinker,

Myself

Well, we're switching to a table for 8, and including Martin Luther King, Jr.

and Leonardo DaVinci. Now this would provide some interesting table talk! icon_biggrin.gif

I would have the managing director of P and O cruises so I can show him what a REAL cruise line is! icon_biggrin.gif

That aside, well I kind of got a soft spot for that cute newt on here, can imagine him bouncing up and down on his chair whilst we ate.

Brad Pitt already eats MY produce so dont need dinner with him.

Total favourite woould eb Susannah and Trinny from "BBC What not to wear"..oh the laughs we would get over dinner icon_biggrin.gif

And from the US, I would like to dine with Ruby Wax as thats what everyone calls me and I can maybe talk her under the table icon_biggrin.gif

I would consider it a privilage to dine with the ships architect of what ever ship we happen to be dining on...so many questions!!

(I also would like to be seated with former prime minister Jean Cretien...so I could get up and politely LEAVE!! I don't have to eat with people I detest...criminal!! icon_mad.gif)

Jimmy Stewart, Richard Harris for their story telling - Elizabeth Taylor and Bette Midler for their beauty and comedy and Bruce Springsteen and Nora Roberts for the "contemporary" touch and George Clooney for my date icon_biggrin.gif

Danno/Newt - have you sought help for this schizophrenia thing you have going on?

I have not sat at the captains table since I was a child traveling with my parents. I would like to sit with the captain, my DH, and on a sad note, my Dad who just passed away May 18th of this year and my Mom who misses him terribly. icon_frown.gif

Great topic!!

Ok, Paul McCartney, Robin Williams, George W. Bush, Peter Forseberg (awesome hockey placer for the Colorado Avalanche), Steve Young (former QB for the SF 49ers) and Tom Cruise. Maybe not all at the same table on the same night though. icon_eek.gif

I think I would like to sit with some of my favorite authors: Sue Grafton, Jonathan Kellerman (but not his wife), Stuart Woods, Bill Pronzini, John Lutz, Carl Hiaassen, Lewis Grizzard. Then Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson just because I love them and we'll need some pickin' and singin' after dinner!

Going on CENTURY! Third X Cruise In Four Months!

Well, I forgot about Bob Hope and George Burns! Too funny!

Or how about Paul Newman and Robert Redford, in their prime, of course! They are the pre Brad Pitt look!
