Book today or wait for wave season?

I am looking to book my second cruise ever. Vision of the Seas from Rome in August 2019.

 

Therr is a bogo 60% off sale and some sites over 150 dollar on board credit. 

The deals don't seem that great to me. 

 

I keep reading about wave season in January. Should I wait with booking? 

 

I am from Europe so can't use every USA promo.

Unknown. Just as much chance of prices going up as there is down.  probably  higher odds of prices increasing.

 

if you were in the US I’d say book now and if the price drops just call and they will lower the price but that doesn’t apply in Europe.  

 

Could you use a US TA to book?
