Celebrity Club Chip and Royal Club Royale Now Reciprocal ?

We are long-time members of Royal Caribbean's Club Royale (casino rewards program) but we have never sailed on Celebrity.

 

I got an email offer from Celebrity's Blue Chip Club today out of the blue (pun ??) and was very surprised.  Apparently I am now a member of the Blue Chip Club even though I have never set foot on a Celebrity ship.  I have read chatter on here before about the possible merging of these 2 programs.  I am assuming that has happened.

 

Has anyone else, who is a member of Club Royale (or vise versa),  gotten notification that they have been enrolled/obtained status in the Blue Chip Club ?
