Rare mexicobob Posted December 8, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 8, 2018 Old San Juan. Near the port. Incredible experience that can be done by walking. Unique place that may not be for everybody, but has been there since late 1500's. If you want to venture out further from the port there are many great opportunities, depending on how much time your have,
BallFour4 Posted December 8, 2018 #3 Share Posted December 8, 2018 (edited) OK, you look over 21, so here's what we did when we arrived last time on the Conquest. Walk off the ship and down to the left to the public ferry. I think it's 50 cents. Ride across the bay and walk the one block to the shuttle stop for the van ride to Bacardi. They have three or four different tours priced by duration and what you see. Here are some of my favorites from our visits there: https://www.flickr.com/gp/leeusry/pH8oR0 Casa Bacardi: https://www3.bacardi.com/casa-bacardi/ Tour Info: https://sanjuanpuertorico.com/tour-bacardi-distillery/ Edited December 8, 2018 by BallFour4

jusilva Posted December 8, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted December 8, 2018 Thank you so much. Do you thing I can bring a stroller around the streets in San Juan? I am just asking because we have been to some places that was really hard to push stroller.
cucruizin Posted December 8, 2018 #7 Share Posted December 8, 2018 Some areas will be fine with the stroller, others a bit bumpy due to the cobblestones. You can also take the free trolley to different locations. https://sanjuanpuertorico.com/trolley-old-san-juan/

SpaceCowboy9 Posted December 8, 2018 #9 Share Posted December 8, 2018 Love Old San Juan - the Bacardi trip is as described above - you can't beat 50 cents for a ferry ride.
shellindc Posted December 8, 2018 #10 Share Posted December 8, 2018 We just did this cruise in June, sailing from San Juan. We did the Barcardi tour, walked/took the trolley through Old San Juan, and explored the fort. HIghly recommend all three activities. We stayed at the Marriott Stellaris, and other than the dance party that went on until 2am on Saturday night, it was a really nice property (we came to PR a couple days before the sail date). We hung out at the pool and the beach. It rained for part of the time we were there, pouring rain actually, so we were stuck inside for a bit.
