Who flys to Houston/Galveston?

Southwest does fly into Hobby and there are companies that transfer you from Hobby to the cruise pier. Also, American Airlines flies into Hobby, sometimes they have good pricing. Just depends on who which one flies from your home! Hobby is definately closer to Galveston than IAH! I'd say maybe 35-45 minutes on a good day!

Good Luck!

I know of several companies, but you will need to call them. Don't know if they do "groups" only or will do individuals.

Coach USA 800-334-4441 lists $33 PP one way

Houston Tours 877-440-8888 no price listed

Galveston Limo 800-640-4826 lists $35 PP one way

Yellow Cab 713-236-1111 lists $75 per cab (up to 4) one way

How much was the cruise line going to charge for transfers? It may be more economical to use them.

Thanks Adiar, I did not ask RCC for transfer. I am arriving from CA on Continental at 6.30 am.

I plan to have breakfast at the terminal and then slowly get over to the cruise terminal for boarding around noon.

So I am happy with your suggestion since I am with my grown son (read old man) we should be able to get to Galvaston on time to board.
