Kids/teens on July Med cruise?

We are planning on booking a Med cruise for July 2020, and love the itinerary of the Nieuw Amsterdam 12-night on July 21st.  We have two girls, who will be 10 and 16 at that time.  The main idea of the trip is the ports, but it would certainly be a bonus if there are other kids/teens around the ship for them to hang out with.  Are the typically very many kids/teens on the Holland summer European cruises?

When we did the Med in July/August, there were about 200 kids on board. Noordam.

We did the Nieuw Amsterdam Med in July, 2012. There were 300 kids on board.

We did the Nieuw Amsterdam in 2014 and there was about 200 kids on board in August.
