There are some common terms used by many cruise lines i.e. Alpha medical - Bravo fire.

Sometimes the Alpha code will have a number after it - cabin number location or a description:

Brightstar (cabin) xxxxx

Charlie - Delta - Oscar all have a specific coded meaning

 

Caution after you understand the codes DO NOT BECOME AN AMBULANCE CHASER going to that specific cabin -

or the scene of the coded announcement !
