Everglades Eco-adventure

We booked a similar excursion from Port Canaveral with transfer to MCO.  We were notified the day before we reached port that the excursion was cancelled due to insufficient participation.  That left us stranded without transport upon disembarkation, requiring some scrambling to arrange transportation.  Just something to keep in mind with these last day excursions.  Not impossible to deal with but certainly an unexpected inconvenience.

We just did this on the Symphony TA.... We boarded the bus at about 9:30AM.....  too much luggage, we wait an hour and a half for another truck to haul extra luggage.  We drove about an hour to the Everglades, took an air boat ride maybe 40 minutes saw a single croc and a bunch of grackles.  Our boat driver fed them and they landed on him (big black birds).  We went back, I saw an Osprey in a tree (driver didn’t notice or bother to tell us).  Visited the onsite zoo of rescued animals, wasn’t awful wasn’t great.  Dropped off at the airport later than desired.  Flew home.

It was fine.

Have done better airboat rides near Vero Beach.
