Costs of beaches

A fairly general question that applies to most caribbean beaches, is there a cost of entry?

If going to Emerald or Lindbergh for example, do you merely pay cab fare + chair rental? Or if you're fine without a chair can you just stroll onto the sand and enjoy the beach?

Yes you are correct. The taxi will drop you at the resort or wherever you ask, and all beaches are free except Magens and Smith Bay Park (Lindqvist). You can walk the beaches and lay on a towel or use the hotel amenities if you prefer.

Note - The Emerald Beach Resort is in Lindbergh Bay. Many here call it Emerald Beach which can be confusing...
