Celebrity MoveUp:

 

We did a bid for MoveUp to a family balcony room, but got denied, which was no surprise considering there are only 4 of those cabins on the ship and we bid only $150.  However, one of our new Cruise Critic friends did win a bid....all the way to the Penthouse Suite!  Apparently, there was a last minute cancellation, which opened the opportunity for him to Move Up!  He was kind enough to show us the suite (Thanks, J! 🙂)

Now you know, he is a man of few words.  But that is okay, because the only words he really ever needed to say to me are, “I do,” and “Yes, we can book another cruise.”

Great review! Was going to ask what camera you had but as soon as I saw the moon shots I knew there was only one (now two I guess with the P1000) that could do that shot easily.

You are right, it is the P900...  I will have to look into the P1000 😁

I think the P900 is actually the better camera based on some of the reviews that I read.  You've got some great shots with it.

Thanks!  I do love the camera... But buying cameras is an addiction as real as the cruising addiction. 🙂  I will definitely give this one a few more years of work though.

I look forward to your view from Brilliance of the Seas - as it appears this might be your first experience on a Radiance class ship, which is my favorite class so far, and I love sailing from Tampa. 

Meanwhile, I await sailing in March on Adventure of the Seas,  Deck 7 port corner aft.

Great review and pics!  I read all your Royal Caribbean reviews.  We're trying Celebrity this time and will be on the Equinox.  I was wondering when you upgraded to your Deck 8 balcony cabin, do you lose your original perks.  When I booked, I got two free perks but I notice now only one perk is offered.  I'm hoping to upgrade after final payment coming up soon and wondered if I will lose my two perks if the prices drop for a Concierge balcony cabin.  Thanks for all your hard work while on vacation!

Unfortunately, we had no perks booked, as we did the guarantee rate after final payment was due.  I do not know if you will lose your perks, but I would still call them and see what they say... I hope you really enjoy your cruise on Equinox!

😂 I think I am as fond of writing reviews as I am of cruising.  So, there will be something 'semi-live' happening.
