Fishguard (Wales) and Falmouth (England)

We've stopped in Falmouth twice on EB TAs (2010 and 2012).  The first time we did a private CC tour over to Cornwall, which was well worth it.  Especially if you're a fan of "Poldark," the PBS series.  Cornwall stops were St. Ives and Penzance.  St. Ives was truly charming with its setting on a cove with extreme tides and many of the buildings having overflowing window flower boxes.  We didn't sample the pasties (meat pie you can eat on the run), a staple there.  (Note:  many Cornish men came to Michigan's UP to work in the copper mines so pasties are a staple up there, too.)  The second time we anchored off Falmouth, we walked around the town--it's larger and more prosperous than St. Ives, with large, fine homes.  Enjoy your time there!
