Favorite St. Kitts or Nevis Activities

Our family of 3 (dad, mom, and 12 year old) will be in St. Kitts in June. We like spending time on the beach, snorkeling, boat trips, and hiking. We aren't so much interested in shopping or sightseeing all day, but a little is okay. Also, we are open to excursions or a DIY day. We are up for adventure and exploring, off the beaten path if an option. 

 

What is the best way we could spend our day in port?

Several tour operators offer a rain forest hike that would be fun adventure. I think Royston does, among others, and his sightseeing tour is a lot of fun and definitely goes off the path! But if you just want to check out a sight or two, I'd suggest seeing Brimstone Fortress. There are gorgeous views, and the structures are amazing.
