Vogatrice Posted December 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2018 (edited) First time cruiser (M929, Sept 15 2019 Transatlantic to Hamburg), and I’m just deciphering things with this forum's help. I have a question about the inside cabin we've been assigned, 5050. The deck plan (https://www.cruisecritic.com/queen-mary-2-qm2-deck-plans/dp/?shipID=294&deck=5) shows it is adjacent to a large white space that is not labeled. Does anyone know what that might be? Service elevators? Stairs? Open space? Should I be concerned? Or is this a decent inside assignment? Thanks for any guidance. Rare Essiesmom Posted December 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted December 28, 2018 Probably crew areas, but for a more expert opinion visit the Cunard board here, under Cruise Lines A-O. Have only sailed her once, but will be back on in 2020. EM
cb at sea Posted January 1, 2019 #3 Share Posted January 1, 2019 That's a teensy deck plan....can't even SEE the cabin numbers. There are storage closets on ships...they won't cause problems. You should NOT be concerned.
