British Airways

Considering booking British Airways from Munich to SFO in May. Never flown them before and appreciate any opinions. This will be on economy.

British Airways has the World Traveler Plus product which is a little more than the standard economy fare, but gives you more room and some other benefits. I have heard nothing but good reviews. :)

BA economy is fine. Food is okay, seats are okay, service is good.

I happen to have my log book on my desk at the moment. I see that I flew 186 hours 17 minutes on BA during the last 12 months (gate to gate, out of 222 hours 10 minutes total flying), all tickets bar one either in plain economy or in WT+, and virtually all on routes where I could have flown some other airline, as I have complete control over who I choose to travel with.

Thank you all for the information. We booked British Airways RT for $639 Munich to San Francisco In May and going from San Francisco to Munich in October. Our cruise goes from New York to Venice and we plan to return on our own from Munich 1 week later. I tried different options for getting the best price and came up with returning to Munich in October. At this point, we are (2 couples) considering using the return flight to Munich in October and take another transatlantic cruise back to US. We figure we might as well since the flight is already paid.
