Escape DOS/OS connect?

Does anyone know for SURE if the wall between the DOS and the OS on the Escape opens so they can connect?....thanks in advance :)…...also does the balcony wall between them open too?

No wall or connection to OS.  Gladly they fixed that huge mistake on BA/GA.

 

Balcony, I'd have to check pics but thinking not.

Looked at pics I had and there are two panels.  One tall, thin, and rectangular, other is the slated to front of ship and larger.  The larger one is definitely fixed in place.  The thin one, if it opens, opens towards the OS as on DOS side there is a jamb.  I didn't have a good picture of other side to see possible hinges.

 

My guess is it does open so they can wash down the ship easier on disembarkation day but as far as stewards opening them up, I doubt they would.
