Thecat123 Posted January 5, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 5, 2019 Willwannago it seems the weather gods have been great for your cruise around NZ unlike our cruise last year on the Encore which arrived back at Auckland a day early due to poor weather. Seabourn were very good and gave us 10% of what we had paid towards a future cruise even though Seabourn did not have to do anything as they can't control the weather We actually got off the Encore at Sydney just before your cruise after a good cruise down from Bali I hope you have had a great cruise and are leaving the Encore in good shape as we have friends boarding today Do you have any idea who the new captain is going to be? Willwannago is that you on the top deck waving? http://www.takeabreak.co.nz/webcams/61/auckland_queens_wharf_webcam
Williwannago Posted January 5, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 5, 2019 Aloha The Cat, We did have fantastic weather the entire cruise. A welcoming official said thanks for bringing the good weather. The ship is in great shape, we really appreciated the details that was put into the Encore, and will sail her again. I didn’t know Capt John was departing but thought he was the most personable Captain we have had. CD Ross was hilarious, and our wine glass was never empty. We were on the 10th deck looking over at the slow off loading of bags 8:15-8:45. We have 1 more round of golf at Titirangi then we fly home tonight, it’s been an enjoyable adventure. Willi Willi you have your priorities wrong You should have gone to Waiheke Island as there are plenty of vineyards there instead of playing golf https://www.fullers.co.nz/destinations/waiheke-island/
