Beach to chill

Many times on an island we simply take the local bus to a beach and chill for the day. The last time I was in Curacao I believe we took a bus to a beach, rented a couple of chairs and umbrella, but I don't remember the name of it. It is still possible to do this? I'm not sure we want to do a day pass because my friend would like to look around town and get in a little history. Any suggestions? Looks like maybe taxi's are the way to go? Appreciate any help. Thanks!

We did taxi to Blue Bay, paid beach admission, chairs included.

Taxi back to port dropped us right near Queen Emma's bridge for a walk around the city.

Worked perfect for us and got a bit of beach and a bit of history in one day.

Thanks for the info. How much was the Taxi and Beach admission?

Taxi was $30 each way.

If I recall correctly the beach was $8 per person.

Beach was nice, facilities were basic, food/drink was good.
