Your Time Dining on Glory

Has anyone done YTD on the Glory recently?  Curious as to whether you check in on the Hub app and what wait times look like.  We currently have late dining, but are thinking of switching to YTD for a little more flexibility ...

Currently they app check in for YTD is only available on the Horizon and maybe the Vista as well (not sure). But, no other ships have it yet, so you will be checking in right at the MDR as usual.

We did YTD on the Glory in May and the most wait was 5-10 minutes and that was just 1 night out of 7. You couldn't check in on the Hub app. We love YTD because sometimes we were hungry as soon as it opened and other times, we got there at 8:30. And we would also schedule it around our plans for the evening. We also like it because you can choose to sit by yourself in different parts of the MDR versus on the set time, they set you at the same table with other guests, unless  you had pre-requested to be alone with the maitre d. Don't mean to high-jack the thread, but what dining room on Glory does YTD?  I know on our past Carnival cruises it was the mid-ship dining room only.  The aft dining room was not available for YTD.

We did Anytime Dining on Glory over Christmas.  It worked well.  One night we had a 20 minute wait.  We learned as the week went on what time to show up, and then we never had to wait very long.  Except for one night (well 2 since we ate in the Steakhouse another night) we ate in the section where we wanted to, since the wait staff was wonderful!!

 

It was in the Golden, right near the lobby bar.  You checked in right at the dinning room.
