Has anybody taken a cab to the baha mar hotel in Nassau, if so, what is the cost from the port?  Has anybody gone here, any comments/suggestions/advice?  We would like to eat lunch there any ideas?

Cab should cost you $18 for 2 ppl.   $4 for ea. add'l person.

Check the website for venues open to the public, most are for guests only.

There are a few indoor spots off the casino that serve outsiders.

is there any way to access the pools? Beach?

Yes, Book a room for the day/  Only guests of the hotel are allowed access to beach and pools

Is it worth it?  We usually go to the Atlantis for the day, we don't use the Aquapark so just the beach and the restaurants/shopping, is there much of a difference?

The difference is that baha Mar is much newer and nicer, and on a better beach.
