Cruising out of San Francisco

We are cruising a 10 day cruise with Carnival and we are driving in. What do you all recommend for hotels and parking in that area?

For reasonable parking you will have to find a place out by the airport or in the East Bay (Oakland) area.  You will find nothing "reasonable" near the seaport.   If you are driving from LV then you might consider staying in East Bay and getting an UBER over to the port.  If you really want to stay near the port then search for parking lots near the port.  There are many.  We visit the city often and parking at any of the hotels is going to cost you $50-$70 per day.

Ah yes,  I do remember hearing about this before.  Interesting.  Nice to have more options out of SF.
