glassmazza Posted January 17, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2006 Our favorite sea day activity is the watersking. Not to many passangers know about it but it is a blast!! You are hooked up to bungee cables in case you fall and are then just pulled back to the deploy platform. Great for the kids!!:)
WLW Posted January 17, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2006 Hmm, being pulled by a 90,000 ton ship with no way to let go just seems a bit dangerous. ;) Don't get me wrong, I would do it if they had a kneeboard. lol
rokcop Posted January 17, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 17, 2006 I personally like to parasail from my aft cabin, but last trip I was told I had to wear more than a thong while doing so. Amazing views. Can't believe what people are doing on their balconies when the think no one is looking.
dyanna72 Posted January 17, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 17, 2006 Think I heard of a honeymooner bobbing for sharks but they never returned.
Merion_Mom Posted January 18, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 18, 2006 Fishing. But only from an aft cabin.
wrp96 Posted January 18, 2006 #6 Share Posted January 18, 2006 I'm not as adventurous - I only fly my kite. Watch for it from my aft balcony on Serenade. It's gonna be really hard to do it from my inside cabin on Brilliance, but I'm going to try.
Sheffie Posted January 18, 2006 #7 Share Posted January 18, 2006 Skeet shooting is my favorite sea day excursion. I especially enjoy it when someone is parasailing. The look on their faces is priceless! For some reason, I think they think I am shooting at them. I can't help it if those darned skeet fly in their direction! Grumm Posted January 18, 2006 #10 Share Posted January 18, 2006 Skeet shooting is my favorite sea day excursion. I especially enjoy it when someone is parasailing. The look on their faces is priceless! For some reason, I think they think I am shooting at them. I can't help it if those darned skeet fly in their direction! Have a heart! There are only 20,000 breeding pairs of skeets left. Aim for the parasailers and water skiers. Alan

threeofus Posted January 18, 2006 #12 Share Posted January 18, 2006 We like to BBQ on our balcony......not enough food on board.
JulieMcCoy Posted January 18, 2006 #13 Share Posted January 18, 2006 I try to be first in line for "captain for an hour" tickets. It's a blast to sail the ship during the waterskiing/parasailing excursions. The quick turn across the ship's own wake gets 'em every time. croozerz Posted January 18, 2006 #14 Share Posted January 18, 2006 I prefer bungee jumping off of the crown lounge, if that is all booked up I just try to figure out which elevator will take me to the front of the ship. WLW Posted January 18, 2006 #15 Share Posted January 18, 2006 Fishing. But only from an aft cabin. Crap! I wish someone would have told me that sooner. Now I might have to give up the deck 10 aft JS and move closer to the water. :D
DFritz Posted January 18, 2006 #16 Share Posted January 18, 2006 Where can I buy my tickets for these excursions? Last cruise I stood in line behind this pair of 92 year old grandpa's and they bought the last of the tickets. Can I buy them in advance so the old folks don't grab them all up? I'm especially interested in the shark bobbing but wonder if I will need to rent my equipment or should I bring it onboard with all of my chocolate milk hidden in my garment bag?
