Embarkation

First time on MSC.  Saw on our embarkation info that we are told not to try to embark before 2 p.m.  Our hotel shuttle is scheduled to drop us off at around 12:30 p.m.  Will we be able to get inside the terminal or will we have to wait outside until 2?

We are sailing from Miami.  I finally was able to get in touch with MSC and was told we could get inside the terminal and probably even check in by 12:00.

We did the same thing out of Miami. The latest shuttle available from our hotel was 12:30. We were at the terminal by 1:00. There was a long line but they will let you check in. People were waiting to board the ship when we got there but by the time we checked in, they had started boarding.

We boarded in Guadeloupe and the main gate guard would not let anyone with luggage on the ship before 2:15pm! We arrived at about 12:15pm. By 1pm, there were about 100 people waiting to get into the main gate, in the hot sun without water or restrooms (and tons of luggage). There were many people that had 1pm boarding time on their documents, so it was very upsetting.
