Rare Tapi Posted January 26, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2019 I’m in the process of completing the online check-in. I get to the last step (to accept the cruise ticket contract) and I get this error message that says “Because of our pricing structure, the age correction you have requested may affect the cruise fare”. I didn’t change any birth dates and all of them are correct and linked to their respective VIFP number. I contacted Carnival a few weeks ago and then again today to rectify the error, and they first said that that it was a glitch and now that it may take a few days for them to figure it out. So while I wait for their response, I’m posting this here to see if any of you have encountered this error and to learn what you did to get it fixed. Thanks! beshears Posted January 26, 2019 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2019 I did not have this problem when I did on-line check in, but had another couple problems, as I wanted to get the on line check in "finished," but I kept receiving an error. I called customer service, and they took care of both problems, so information that I "thought" I HAD to put on there, there was another way to do it.
