Question-  I am heading to Nassau with my family on EOS next week and wanted to know if the Ocean Water Temps are too cold, do they cancel the dolphin swim excursion?  whats the policy?

I have 3 little kids and if the water is tooooo cold, what do you do?

thanks in advance

Mark

Water temps was around 77 degrees when we were there last week.  We swam in the ocean and some scuba diving.  Water is cool and refreshing if you're having a beach day and want to get in for 10-20 minutes.  Any more and you'll need a wet suit which would be provided for any excursion with prolonged time in the water.

I grew up on Lake Erie and the beaches would close if the water temps got above 75 due to bacteria levels, so 77 degrees doesn't sound too cold to me.

We went to Nassau, Princess Cays, and Freeport last February/March and did water activities all three days.  The water was cool, but pleasant for us so it really depends on what you are used to.
