TorontoCubaGirl Posted January 29, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2019 Hi there, first time poster and first time cruiser here. We will be in St Martin in March and I'm having a very hard time deciding which tour to do. We're interested in either Bernard's (the tour with a 2 hour beach stop) or the Robinson speed boat tour. We are a family of 5, kids are 5, 5 and 7. Any suggestions on which would be a better way to see the island for a first time visitor? Thanks very much! JAGR Posted January 31, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2019 (edited) We've done Bernard's tour three times, but not since the hurricane damage. Still, I think they will show you much of the island nations, and the breaks would help with potentially restless youngsters. Did the speed both once, and while interesting, it was not our cup of tea. Edited January 31, 2019 by JAGR

As between Bernard and Mike Robinson's boat thing, I would say very definitely Bernard's tour would be the better way to see island for a first time visit. Russ Lomas Posted February 2, 2019 #4 Share Posted February 2, 2019 We have not done the boat tour but have done Bernard's twice with younger kids. They should love it. Lots of stops. Kids can enjoy time on Orient Beach and also on Maho Beach. Grab some food at your stop in Marigot. Kids loved the stop where they could see and hold various sea creatures. Feeding the iguanas bananas was another quick fun stop.
