Gabruska Posted January 31, 2019 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2019 Hello, It will be our 3rd time in Belize. We have done the ruins, zip lining and cave tubing before. It was all great! This time looking for just easy relaxed day and go to Kukumba Beach in Old Belize. Reviews for that one are not so great on the "reviews sites", but since we have two teens I bet they would like to enjoy the slide etc. Questions is anybody experienced Kukumba Beach? Thoughts? How do we get there and the cost? I am also open to suggestions to have a beach day elsewhere maybe snorkeling? Thank you
Rare crewsweeper Posted January 31, 2019 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2019 Been several years since there, but it was originally designed for locals and has a marina. It's a man made "beach" on a lagoon. A taxi will take you there. Not sure what the cost would be but probably around $25 for the taxi nor per person. If your teens can swim and want to snorkel, look at Coral breeze's Shark Ray Alley excursion, or just book a snorkeling excursion on your ship. ABQrobin Posted January 31, 2019 #3 Share Posted January 31, 2019 I would book an excursion to one of the outer islands for a day of beach and snorkeling.
