hummer88 Posted February 3, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2019 We are headed to Cozumel for the day on a cruise. 4 adults, 5 children under 10. We are looking for a great beach day, along with a fresh water pool. Looking at all three of these places they look similar, but where would you pick? from reading all their reviews this is what I have come up with. I know sometimes the general vibe of a place can't be described. Price - all similar Beach - similar Water park (ocean) - similar Food - Mr. Sanchos or PB Drinks - Mr. Sanchos or PB water sports ( snorkeling, water trikes, hobbie cats) - playa Mia water park(slides and kids park)- playa Mia Pool - similar Is this accurate? I am leaning to Playa Mia because of the water trikes and hobie cats, along with the water slides for the kids.

momto2js Posted February 4, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2019 The in ocean water toys at Playa Mia are LONG way from the shore. The swim out was exhausting even for my athletic then 10 year old. We found paradise beach a better day all the way around.
LakeWobegon Posted February 4, 2019 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2019 We liked Paradise Beach so much last Summer we went back several times on a land-based vacation. They now have an all-inclusive option but you can still do pay as you go. Beach, water toys, food, drinks, pool and restroom facilities all very good. It's one of the less picked destinations for cruise ship excursions from what I can tell so it may be less crowded too.

JohninDC Posted February 9, 2019 #6 Share Posted February 9, 2019 Unless you have toddlers, where the kiddie water park at Playa Mia is a perfect match, I would also suggest Paradise Beach.
