Tarwood3 Posted February 3, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2019 Hey all, Ive meaning to see if anyone else has watched this tv program. It was produced by Nova in 2017 but I found it on Netflix by searching “cruise ship”. We watched it and it s excellent...its not just for Regent folks, very interesting for anyone interested in cruising.
Rare Gilly Posted February 3, 2019 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2019 @Tarwood3 it was broadcast in the UK in 2017, just before we sailed on Explorer for the first time. We found ourselves looking for the join 😉 Fascinating, though, to see how it all came together, wasn't it?
gnomie1 Posted February 4, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2019 In the States it has played on both PBS and Smithsonian channels. I know we are not allowed to mention TA's on this board, not sure about other outlets so this may get removed, but if you enjoyed that show, you might want to check out the show titled "Mighty Cruise Ships" on the Smithsonian channel. I don't watch much television but really enjoy this show - the television crew spend time aboard a cruise from embarkation to disembarkation and one gets to see the inner workings and quickly learns that not only is there a Plan B if a problem arises, but there is also Plan C, Plan D, Plan E etc etc etc. gnomie
Hambagahle Posted February 4, 2019 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2019 It is a great film and we enjoyed watching it on YouTube... since we are booked on the Splendour for March next year and the Splendour is the sister ship it was doubly interesting.

Xerxes10 Posted February 5, 2019 #6 Share Posted February 5, 2019 This program played on our local (San Francisco Bay area) PBS station a couple of months ago. I found it fascinating.
