  1. Bill, thanks so much for taking the time to post the odds. Evidently the Explorer casino payoffs are fairly standard. I have been working on simulations of this game. Unsurprisingly, I haven't found a strategy to beat the house yet. We'll be boarding the Explorer on Feb 11th, so I can test out my simulations, as they say, irl.
  2. Bill, Hope you're having a great time. I'd like to take you up on your offer to post a pic of the three card poker payoffs.
  3. While waiting for our February trip on the wonderful Explorer, I would like to try to calculate the odds of winning (I mean odds of losing) at three card poker in the Explorer casino. Would someone please be so kind as to post a photo of the three card poker table showing the payoffs?
  4. Having used both the whisper device and Regent's solution, I find the whisper far superior. I agree that Regent should invest in them.
  5. We are booked on a Miami RT (Island Excapades) leaving 2/11/2020. This is a 20 night cruise so technically there should be Formal or Semi-Formal on two evenings. However, this trip is really a mashup of two 10 day cruises. It's a b2b but sold under one number. My question is will there be Formal nights? I'm not bringing my formal in any case, just curious.
  6. Taxare, you are correct. The quote I posted was from an email about an upcoming cruise we have booked. We are taking this cruise, in part, because we got a substantial credit due to a special promotion (25% reduction) on a previous cruise after our full payment. By luck I happened across the promotion, which was only for residents of California, which we are. I contacted my TA, who said she didn't think anything could be done, but she would check. I now have a new TA!

Here's a quote from the small (and I mean small) print on a recent RSSC email: Should there be a price reduction after final payment has been paid, the difference will be given to guest in the form of a Shipboard Credit, suite upgrade, or a Future Cruise Credit at Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ discretion.
  8. Go to Cruisemapper. Enter the name of the port and then go to schedule.
  9. Prakash was our butler as well on our cruise last winter. He did an outstanding job.
  10. The door is very substantial. You won’t have any trouble.
