question about Pearl Suite

Does anyone know what it means when the information for the Pearl Suite amenities include a DVD library & DVD player.  Is this on-demand?  How does it work?

There is a DVD player in the room and the butler has a list of available movies. You just ask the butler and he will bring them.

Are there still DVD players on the Pearl?  Haven't they removed them from the suites?  (They certainly did on the Gem and Jewel, at least in the Penthouses.)

We were on the Pearl last March and there was a DVD player in the living area of the Owener’s suite.

We were also on the Pearl in March 2018 and it was still DVD players.  We were in the 2br suite.  Decent list of movie options, and your butler will bring you whatever you want.

Yes, the suites we've stayed in over the past few years on Dawn and Breakaway had free on demand movies. Same ones are available in all cabins, but free in suites vs. pay per view in other cabins.

I believe so, but we've never watched a movie on a cruise ever!  🤣
