A1A Local Bus? South Beach to Sunny Isles

Is there a local bus that's easy to use to get from 15000 (Collins or ?) South Beach to 18000 Collins Ave in Sunny Isles?

Map quest tells me it's about 12 miles on A1A, but we won't have a car.

You might want to check your addresses. From 15000 Collins to 18000 Collins is just over 2 miles. 

 

Google maps has great, accurate transit info. 

 

If that's the correct addresses, the 119 bus has regular service.

We have been on Collins in South Beach many times before so that confused me too.  We are hoping to get to the Tony Romas restaurant and it is listed as 18050 Collins Ave in Sunny Isles.  Mapquest gave us the 11.7 miles from where we always stay in South Beach.    We will try Google Maps and see what it can do for us.

          No more Tony Romas in our state and we really miss that Onion Ring loaf

Sorry, I had that wrong

It's actually 1430 Ocean Drive South Beach.   We always walk over to Collins and down to the Lincoln Rd mall area.

You can catch the 120 bus at Washington and 13th. That'll be take you right there. BTW, your original address, 15000 Collins is at Haulover Park, a great clothing-optional beach.

There are 697 better restaurants than Tomy Romas in your hotel's immediate vicinity than taking a city bus to Sunny Isles?  

 

Not to knock your choice but there is a reason they've all gone out of business.

We know that and we've tried several of them.   We go to South Beach twice a year.   Just have a craving for the Onion Loaf with Romas sauce.    Don't want to go to California for them
