I’m intrigued by this as I like to try new things. My thing is Bleu cheese and red wine. It’s magical!

What’s a good wine with the cheeses you mentioned?

Any wine you would really enjoy would go with a good cheese.  The Stilton and gorgonzola are blue cheeses and we usually have a cabernet sauvignon, a Malbec or an extra peppery shiraz.  You are allowed to bring wine on board.  One bottle per passenger per leg is not charged - extras are assessed a $15 corkage fee per bottle.  The ship carries some decent wines as well by the glass as well as bottle.  The Meiomi Pinot Noir is medium light and nice for sipping.  The Robert Mondavi cab is nice as well.  The best wines are only available by the bottle.  My wife and I personally like the J Lohr Seven Oaks Cab Sauv which is moderately priced and available at a decent wine store such as Total Wine.  This cab is well balanced and velvety to my taste.  Enough - go with what you like and enjoy the flavour in a mindful sort of way.  We're not here for a long time so we should concentrate on a good time, especially after leaving the workforce.
