sabast1 Posted January 26, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2006 Yes...I'm pretty sure there is only one.... We were there in April 2005 and the pier was fairly small. That day the Jewel and Adventure of the Seas were docked. They certainly couldn't fit many others. Check this link...maybe of some help. http://www.cruisecal.com/dnn/Default.aspx?tabid=191 Scott

Canuck Cruzer Posted February 1, 2006 #6 Share Posted February 1, 2006 How many ships can fit in the port at once? We aren't going until next March, but was just poking around and noticed that as of right now, there will be 3 large ships and one smaller one the same day. Ours, along with another large ship and the smaller ship arrive at 8am and the last large ship looks to arrive at 10am. The smaller one is Seabourn Legend, so perhaps they aren't at the same pier. Is there enough room for us all, or do they accomodate the first 2 ships and have the others tender?
Daycare Provider Posted February 1, 2006 #7 Share Posted February 1, 2006 How crowded will this be???? Do we tender in?
sabast1 Posted February 2, 2006 #8 Share Posted February 2, 2006 Check out the port photo I took back in April 2005. http://community.webshots.com/album/394549876rRfXVk They have one large central pier and a much smaller one off to the right (where the tiny ship is). If the 3 ships in port aren't too large they might all fit. Scott
mr saging Posted February 4, 2006 #9 Share Posted February 4, 2006 We were on Carnival Liberty 1-7-06 sailing. The day we were in Antigua we were one of four ships there at the same time. There are two large piers there. We were on the left one (facing the town) with Club Med 2 (sailing ship with masts). The right pier had Infinity (Celebrity) and Oceana (P&O Cruises). Both piers are directly connected into town. The moment you're off the piers, you're in the shopping district. Some pics of St. John and the piers on my yahoo photo site, click on day 6 Antigua. http://photos.yahoo.com/~mrsaging Hope this helps.
