Entertainment show schedule on the Getaway?

With certain shows, such as ‘Escape the Big Top’ which says to book onboard and ‘Howl at the Moon’ and ‘Levity Entertainment Group’ which says reservations are not offered...

...how do we know the schedule for these shows, so that with the shows we can book for in advance, we can avoid finding we have clashes once we get on board and aren’t able to fit in the non-bookables?

You don't really know! I'd recommend going to the Box Office right away when you get on board to get everything settled. If you need to move some things around to get everything in, the staff at the box office will be able to help you with that.

Definitely make a reservation for comedy, as the venue is smaller. However, it is offered multiple evenings, so it shouldn't be a problem to work it into your schedule. Howl at the Moon runs continuously through the evening (on my cruises, its been 8:30pm - 12am), so people come and go throughout. On our December cruise, Escape the Big Top was offered at a variety of times, including mornings and evenings, so that shouldn't be too much of an issue either. However, it does "sell out" quickly!

Is there a separate charge for the shows or are the included in your cruise cost

Without more information about your cruise it is difficult to give specific answers.  However, a basic rule of thumb is, IF the description of the show includes a meal and/or drinks (Cirque and Wine Lovers), there IS a charge.

If the shows take place in the main theater, no!

You can get some more info by logging into your MY NCL and get more information with the Entertainment heading.
