Our guide, who is highly recommended has asked us for a deposit through a site called, AisRemesasCuba. Has anyone used this site? Since it requires bank access I am very hesitant to use. I trust our guide but in this day and age  providing access to your bank account is. .....Also it looks like they charge a 15%conversion fee.   TIA

We do NOT allow ANYONE access to our bank account!

I would find a different guide or tell yours that you need to pay the deposit in a different manner!!

I don't care how highly recommended the company is? Do you know who wrote the recommendations??? Get my point? Look elsewhere. There are lots of very good tour providers in Cuba. In Havana, we used CubaOutings. See my review below. Plus they asked for no money until the tour was completed. We also did private tours in Cienfuegos/Trinidad  and Santiago de Cuba. Again, no money exchanged until the tours were completed. I wrote reviews of these tours also.
