janetz Posted February 25, 2019 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2019 (edited) I was just reading a cabin review, deck 14 Fantastica, which had only a tub, no shower. How do you know if there is a tub or shower? Thanks ahead. 😊 Edited February 25, 2019 by janetz

Rare Essiesmom Posted February 25, 2019 #3 Share Posted February 25, 2019 Seaside, most likely. I just had 14148 on Seaside, with tub. I tried to figure out which ones had tube, and sometimes it is every other cabin. They will only be cabins for two, no sleeper sofa, just a love seat. The last morning I ran around taking as many cabin pictures as I could, until the cabin stewards started questioning and consulting supervisors...Along with 14148, there are tube - which do have showers - in 14138, 14142, and 14182. janetz Posted February 25, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted February 25, 2019 Thanks so much Yes, the Seaside. I believe our cabin sleeps 3. We prefer a shower . 😊
Rare Essiesmom Posted February 25, 2019 #5 Share Posted February 25, 2019 Balconies for three will have a sleeper sofa, and stall shower only. EM
sailco Posted February 25, 2019 #6 Share Posted February 25, 2019 (edited) This website has everything you need to know about your chosen cruise ship. https://www.icruise.com/ships/msc-cruises-msc-seaside-staterooms.html Edited February 25, 2019 by sailco
Rare Essiesmom Posted February 25, 2019 #7 Share Posted February 25, 2019 The cabin description on my booking said there was a tub. I don't know if there is any way to tell. There are not enough cabin pictures on cruisedeckplans.com to make any guesses. I found pictures of one cabin on deck 12 and two on deck 13,plus the four I took on 14. janetz Posted February 25, 2019 Author #10 Share Posted February 25, 2019 Essiesmom, Did you enjoy the Seaside? Pros and Cons? Are all the pools deep with no shallower end to stand? Just booked and rethinking 😊

I clicked on my stateroom and it had the routine description of shower. But it has a tub. And it is a B2. All of the cabins I saw with tub were B2, as are those I found on decks 12 & 13. Rare Essiesmom Posted February 25, 2019 #12 Share Posted February 25, 2019 I do not recall any of the pools having a shallow end, all were accessed by a ladder. We enjoyed our cruise. EM
