Appleton Rum Estate from MoBay

Has anyone does this tour from Montego Bay? I'm a bit worried about the drive (length and motion sickness inducing). Can't find any reviews or comments of people going on it.

It is quite a distance from port , depending on when you dock and when you are scheduled to leave, it's almost a 2 hour drive.

It would be a very, very long day to be honest. It's a gorgeous tour and really interesting, but there's a good bit of walking around the distillery and the roads are not great -- lots of slowdowns and potholes. 

That said, it's a fascinating tour and a great look into some of the history of Jamaica. We lived there for several years, and it was one of my favorite things on the island. But if you're only marginally into Jamaica or rum or history, it might not be worth the schlep.

This type of excursion has always made me nervous in Jamaica..
