Renaissance Resort - Beach? Pool?

Please tell me about the beach and the pool at the Renaissance Resort.  How big is the beach?  It seems very small in the pictures.  Is it a a man made beach?  Does it get very crowded?  Any good snorkeling there?  Are there plenty of lounge chairs and shade umbrellas?  Is the pool nice?  Big enough to swim laps?  Thanks.

I am also interested in this.  I read the thread on this board about the day pass.  Has anybody done this recently?  All the reviews seem positive.

It's a man made beach and no snorkeling at all.

Great views of your cruise ship from there.
