magic&buddy Posted March 23, 2019 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2019 We are planning our first cruise with Disney. We will be booking 3 cabins - our daughter; her husband and 2 children, our son-in-laws mother as well as my husband an myself. In checking prices it appears that it would be cost effective to book one of the children in with the other grandmother. Can anyone tell me, if we book that way, will there be any problem when we get on board to move the child to the parents room?
1025cruise Posted March 23, 2019 #2 Share Posted March 23, 2019 It shouldn't be an issue, just make sure there are enough beds.
mommb Posted March 23, 2019 #3 Share Posted March 23, 2019 If there is space in the parent’s room, having the child actually stay in the parents’s room will not be a problem. You should be able to get a Key to the World card to allow the child access to the parents’ room. There are a couple of minor effects. The official lifeboat station will be the room in which the child was booked, which could be different from the station for the other room. This should affect only the lifeboat drill. In order for the child to leave the ship without the grandmother who is in the booked room, she will need to sign a release allowing the child’s parents permission to take the child off the ship. ArthurUSCG Posted March 25, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 25, 2019 Make sure the room you are booking your daughters has 4 beds. Some of the rooms in the same CAT sleep different number of beds.
