Closest Beach to get to in Tortola?

I will be on the Carnival Sunrise in June.  Is their only one port to go into in Tortola?  If so, is their a beach that is close to the port?  If not close, what is the easiest one to get to?  Would we go by taxi?  I'd appreciate any help.  We've never been to Tortola, so this is new to us.  Thanks so much.  ( Some info....it's just my husband and I)

One cruise port on Tortola. You’ll find from other threads there are different beach options, read about Brewers Bay, Cane Garden Bay, and the two Long Bays if you want to compare. Otherwise the majority of your fellow cruisers will just taxi to CGB. Shared safari taxi is $8pp each way.
