6 seasoned citizens struggling.  We are do an all day classic car tour.  Is 2 cars enough with 3 of us in each back seat or do we need 3 cars with 2 in the back seat?  Hate to spend the extra money if it is not necessary.  Recommendations?

You're fine with 2 cars-- someone can also sit up front next to the driver leaving 2 in the back. More than comfortable. The cars are generally quite large-- we've fit 4 in a car using the front seat and it wasn't bad but would have been nice to have a little more room.

We also fit 4 plus a driver and guide.  I wouldn't want to take a road trip like that, but we were never in the car longer than maybe 20-30 minutes between stops, and most were significantly shorter than that.  If you only have a driver, you'll be in great shape with one up front and two in the back.
