I recommend you email the HAL access and compliance department. Ask them if they have photos of the specific cabins you are interested in. If they don’t, they contact the ship and will get them for you. The email address is HAL_Access_&_Compliance@HollandAmerica.com

 

I did sail on Koningsdam, the sister ship to Nieuw Statendam, last November. We stayed in cabin 4096, which is an obstructed view balcony. Though the view was obstructed, it was the largest balcony we’ve ever had. It was also completely covered allowing us to sit out there and not bake in the sun or get wet during a storm.
