karenw Posted January 23, 2006 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2006 Does RCCL have past guest receptions on the 4 day cruises? It seems like they're always near the end of the week on the 7 day.
madforcruising Posted January 23, 2006 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2006 The list of the Crown & Anchor benefits list the Welcome Back Party only for cruises of 7 nights or longer.
GatorGirl Posted January 24, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2006 Never jad a reception on Majesty or Sovereign.
just sailing Posted January 24, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 24, 2006 They do have a reception for Platinum and Diamond Members on 4 night cruises, but no Welcome Back Party like Madforcruising said.
kc320 Posted January 24, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 24, 2006 Ditto, they have the "Special Event" for Platinum & Diamond members but no repeat party on the 3,4 & 5 night cruises.
mark290 Posted January 24, 2006 #6 Share Posted January 24, 2006 I attended the repeat party on the 12/18/05, 5 night cruise aboard Mariner.
FJTinSC Posted January 25, 2006 #7 Share Posted January 25, 2006 We also had one on our 5 night Enchantment cruise last year. For all C7A members, not just platinum and above!
winncove Posted January 26, 2006 #8 Share Posted January 26, 2006 I can't remember if you have to show your invite or not. We have friends, 1st timers, going w/us & I'd love for them to hear the Capt. speak etc. Will this be allowed? We've only had a free drink & canapes so no big loss in revenue. Do you show your invite before entering?

madforcruising Posted January 26, 2006 #10 Share Posted January 26, 2006 We had to show invitation the last several cruises too, or at least the sea pass card that indicates your C&A level. Two years ago when I had my Mom with me on her first RCCL cruise I asked the LA before the party if it would be OK to bring her and he said yes. I would never bring someone without asking the host who is not invited and it would have been perfectly OK to me if the answer would have been NO. These parties are so crowded already that I understand that they have to limit.
