Looking for St. Kitts Beach Recommendations

 Share

Recommended Posts

My wife and I are stopping in St. Kitts on the Carnival Inspiration September 25 and are looking for a relatively inexpensive and nice beach to visit.  When I say nice we like something that has nice soft sand and clear water.  We do not need an all inclusive or even bar or restaurant, just a chair and a towel.  Are there any decent beaches close to port?

All beaches are free. You may have to pay to get a chair & umbrella. Bring your towel from the ship. Closest beaches are on Frigate Bay. The beach on South Frigate Bay is on the Caribbean side of the island while the beach on North Frigate Bay is on the Atlantic.   The Marriott is on the Atlantic side. Taxi fare to Frigate Bay is about  $16 total each way for 1 to 4 people sharing the ride. It is really too far to walk.

How long is the taxi ride to Marriott or other nearby resorts to go to for the day?

We'll be docked wherever RC docks 😉

The Marriott

This may possibly be the cheapest trip to a beach.

With your Towel, also remember to take food and drink all browsed from the ship's buffet, all wrapped in a napkin, then bury debris in the sand.

Don't forget the mantra "Beaches are free" to be repeated ad nausium.

Take a towel position on the beach directly between the sea and the front rank sun bed's paying guest.

Rather than pay for toilet facilities, use the sea under the pretext of going for a swim.

Then, when asked on your return to the ship where you spent the day, you can honestly reply "At the Marriott".
