Piano Bar on Ruby?

Hi,

Does the Ruby have a crooners bar with piano player 

and if so who might be playing. Love to listen to some

good music after dinner.Thanks for any info. Sailing

Yes, the Ruby does have Crooners with a piano player.  We were on the Ruby mid-March and Tommy McPhee was the entertainer.  We loved him and visited Crooners nearly every night as a result.  We felt he had an Elton John/Billy Joel kindof vibe, took requests when he could, and interacted with the passengers very well.  He invited another entertainer to sing with him (Mary Simon) and their duets were great (she performed in the Wheelhouse bar, and was also wonderful on her own).  If you're an R&B/Motown fan, look for Teacake as well!  Overall, the live music venues were wonderful and one of things we enjoyed the most on this cruise.

He had quite a following on a 14 day Circle Caribbean. Packed Crooner's every night. We didn't care for him but loved the pianist who was playing in Wheelhouse. Different stokes. Like I said, Tommy packed them in but he just wasn't the one for us. We've seen pianists in Crooner's that we saw a lot and others that we didn't care for at all. I can't remember who was in Crooner's on our Ruby cruise last November but we took a brief listen a couple of nights, left, and never went back.
