Ultimate Italy - Umbria Flight Infomation

We will be taking the Journey to Antiquities cruise this December and will do the Umbria extension afterwards.  What airport do they use for flights home after this extension?  I was guessing Rome but actually Florence is a little closer to Perugia where we will  be based for the extension.  Rome would probably be a better airport ... larger etc. but we did fly out of Florence for the Tuscany extension a couple of years ago.  Has anyone who has taken this extension have an idea?  We have air plus and I am researching flights but want to get the complete information first.

If you look on page 3 of the guest statement PDF that I assume was emailed to you, you should see the airport listed there.

 

One question for you - my wife and I are considering the Tuscany extension - were you pleased with it?

We are doing the Umbria extension pre-cruise and will be met ( I hope) at the Rome airport (FCO). Hope that helps.

We are doing the Tuscany extension (pre cruise for us) at the end of July. We fly into Florence.

Sqawkman ... We LOVED it!  It was a very busy few days but the villa was awesome, the food wonderful and our tour escort watched over us like a mother hen!  The group we were with was also exceptionally great ... everyone respected the schedule, lent a helping hand when needed, and joyfully embraced the experiences!  We had a wonderful time!

Thanks for the input. We’ll be making a final decision this week.
